In the Community
Rooted in the communities we serve, we’re growing a brighter, more inclusive future together.
Our Involvement
At Journey, we believe that our success is deeply tied to the well-being of the communities we serve. Community involvement is not just a responsibility — it’s a privilege, allowing us to build meaningful connections, strengthen local networks, and contribute to positive and sustainable change. Through volunteering our time, supporting invaluable organizations, and fostering respectful and collaborative relationships with Indigenous partners, we aim to make a lasting impact. These efforts reflect our commitment to creating a brighter, more inclusive future while staying true to our core values.
Organizations We Support
Journey is proud to support a wide range of organizations through volunteering, sponsorships, and donations. These are organizations that hold a personal connection to Journey’s team, and are often working tirelessly to address critical needs, from providing food and shelter to advancing medical research. By investing in local initiatives, we aim to help those in need, as well as foster a sense of connection and shared purpose within the community.

Indigenous Engagement
Journey is committed to proactive engagement and building successful relationships with Indigenous people, businesses, and communities.
Journey has partnered with the University of Calgary’s Schulich School of Engineering as a foundational supporter for their Indigenous Pathways Program. This is one of the only university programs in Canada that is focused on increasing Indigenous inclusion and participation in the engineering discipline. As a Calgary-based company, we are proud to actively support a local initiative that we truly believe in and look forward to seeing the success that it will bring in the coming years.
Journey also partners with Juno Engineering Canada Inc. (Juno) for electrical, instrumentation, and controls (EI&C) engineering scopes of work. Journey and Juno have a longstanding relationship, having completed many successful projects as a team and Juno is incorporated into Journey’s core tools and systems. Juno is a Certified Aboriginal Business under the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB), based on 51% or more Aboriginal ownership and control.
