National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Since 2021, we have recognized September 30th as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (also called ‘Orange Shirt Day’), a designated day of remembrance to #honour the lost children and survivors of Canada’s Indigenous residential school system. This day is another small step towards #reconciliation of the painful #history for Indigenous people.


In recognition of this day, our office will be closed on Monday, Oct. 02 (in lieu of Saturday, Sept. 30). We encourage our staff and their loved ones to #reflect on the past and help increase #awareness. It is still a significant issue today that deserves our attention.
