After our client’s gas plant in #BattleCreek, SK, was put into operation, there was a desire to further reduce #GHG emissions from the waste stream not normally considered combustible. The regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) preheats the inlet gas in order for an ultra-low heating value gas to be combusted, and the exhaust stream is used to preheat the inlet prior to being vented. With this #process, the #CO2 equivalent of the methane in the #gas stream is reduced by up to 26x!
