This #dam safety management project is so unique, we thought we’d provide an update! Our client has put one of their long-time freshwater reservoirs into #cessation – a dam of this magnitude has never before been put into cessation within #Alberta. Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) continued to lean on Journey Engineering Corporation to help navigate the level of effort and detail in line with the Alberta Dam and Canal Safety #Directive to reduce any potential #risks and #liabilities. Our team’s depth of experience as well as great #regulatory relationships were crucial in developing a plan that works!

The #reservoir has been successfully released and works are underway to ensure the dam remains in cessation until next steps are determined.
