Helium Enhancement Feasibility Study
North American Helium | Southwestern SK
North American Helium (NAH) partnered with Journey Engineering (Journey) to investigate the cost and feasibility of the installation of a helium liquefier in Western Canada. This front-end engineering and design (FEED) study began in July 2022 and finished the following month. The main design is expected to finish Q2 2024 with support through to final start-up.
The facility, with Journey’s anticipated scope of mostly of piping, cable, and electrical infrastructure, will bring 99.990 to 99.999% pure helium from various sources for liquefaction and further sales in liquid form using ISO containers (also known as intermodal containers, sea-cans, or freight containers).
Go versus no-go – our FEED studies provide the information you need to make the right decision.
This FEED study included the detail and scope of work for the specialty equipment suppliers, supported by various studies, in order to understand potential technical issues and investment costs before embarking on detailed design.
