Bhakti Kawa, one of our junior mechanical E.I.T.s on our facilities engineering team, recently had the opportunity to speak on the #STEM Unity Panel at the Diverse Careers in Science workshop, hosted by the Chemists for Inclusivity, Diversity, and Equity (CIDE) group at the University of Calgary.

Here’s the takeaway of her #experience!  

“Representing engineering through Journey Engineering Corporation, it was inspiring to share my own path while learning from others with incredibly diverse #STEM backgrounds. What stood out was that, although each career journey was unique, we were all connected by a few common threads: the importance of finding your #community, seeking out the right #mentors, staying #curious, and continuously striving to #learn – no matter where your path takes you.”
