We are delighted to introduce the latest addition to the Journey Engineering Corporation team! Fadi Shahin, P. Eng. has taken on the role of Manager, Infrastructure Projects for our #civil engineering group. Within this role, he is determined to cultivate the #growth of client relationships as well as the growth of our engineers.
Having graduated from Dalhousie University in 2006 with a BSc. in civil engineering, he first gained experience with geotechnical field engineering and project engineering. He quickly progressed to #managing and #leading entire engineering departments and operations divisions. In a nutshell, he has gained nearly two decades of progressive technical and project management experience via working on civil infrastructure projects for various #municipal, #commercial, and #industrial clients.
Outside of work, Fadi likes connecting with friends and spending as much time as possible with his lovely wife and two beautiful, energetic, and talented kids (who keeps them on their toes!). He has given back to the #community through donating and #volunteering at the Mahogany School.
Fadi has mentioned that he enjoys learning about other cultures – we can already sense his #genuine curiosity engaging in wholesome, enthusiastic conversations with our staff members while grabbing a coffee in the kitchen. His passion to positively impact and #motivate others so that they can grow in both their lives and careers is, without a doubt, a mark of humbleness and true character.
